The original painting was painted with Oil Paint while I was sitting on the beach at Port Aransas, TX with a friend. I had found a singular crab claw in the sand and was inspired by its colors, but didn't want it to be crushed inside my pocket, so I stuck it to my crochet top and walked it back to our spot.
